September is a busy month, we are back from holiday (sigh), juggling work and family life, school runs and homework. And most of us are back cooking family dinners and making packed lunches. PurpleCarrot believes that feeding your family healthy and tasty meals should not add any stress to your daily routine. And to prove it, we have come up with a plan! A menu plan that is, which includes clever meal planning, batch cooking, balancing ideas, leftover hacks and shopping tricks to help you get organised and…save precious time!
This workshop will start with a talk by Pilar on family nutrition and introduce PurpleCarrot’s menu planning tools and advice while you enjoy a lovely home-made breakfast including quick and easy ideas to make ahead, feed the whole family and keep you going all day!
Breakfast and our menu planning session will be followed by a demonstration session lead by Paula, our nutritional chef. Paula will cook several family-friendly dishes which freeze well, can be transformed easily into another meal, take little effort and time and, of course are balanced, healthy and totally tasty!
During the demo session, we will show you how to use our planning tools and efficiently create the building blocks of a well stocked freezer for those evening when there is no time to cook. We will share our leftovers hacks because we believe that if you are spending time shopping and cooking, might as well get two meals out of the effort!
After the demo session you will take home a few samples of the food we’ve made to start you on the way of better menu planning.
Pilar will be available throughout the session to answer health and nutrition questions and Paula will be at hand to share her cooking knowledge.
Our Menu Planning workshop will give you the tools to eat better while spending less time in the kitchen.
